Thumbs up

Ken,
That does look as if it could be a great deal of fun and affordable too! All you need to do is design a course of fire for our range and find an open date. You should have a good group of people participate. Almost everyone owns a 22 rifle. There are round steel plates of different sizes next to the 2700 range,at the edge of the woods, that are pretty much only used once a year for the pistol portion of the “All Around” match. You will have to build your own set of target stands if you use paper targets. “Build it and they will come!”

Default Mall Ninja

Looks like a bunch of mall ninja...ninjas...ninjai (what is the plural there?) Seriously, it looks like fun but I just can't get into high end 22 rifles right now. And that tackycool garb looks expensive too, no dressin up for me.

Default Rimfire Silhouette

I have never owned a decent bolt action .22 rimfire and am thinking of purchasing one.

While I am not looking for something of european class accuarcy, Id like something with a usable trigger and a straight barrrel that I will not have to spend hundreds on to make it hit something.

There is a local deal on Remmington #5, are they OK or are they just another mass produced piece of junk?

The finest bolt action 22lr I ever owned was a CZ452 standard model nothin fancy. I think I paid about $300 for it,worth every penny. I don't know about the Remington. I have owned some rugers and some marlins and they were OK but nothing like the value of the CZ. As with anything you will get what you pay for.
