Catawba Valley Rifle & Pistol Club

Catawba Valley Rifle and Pistol was established by men returning from World War II who were looking for a place to shoot. Over the years the ranges have changed to accommodate different disciplines. The original skeet range was positioned on the 100 yard range but was moved to make way for a silhouette range. The outdoor pistol range was originally named the 2700 range for its roots in Bullseye competition. Today CVRP is host to a wide range of shooting sports and youth programs.
